Position Summary:

Self-proclaimed Media Nerds seek same…We are seeking a full time Paid Digital Media Strategist who is highly in tune with the digital world and can help us use technology to improve our digital media campaigns and programs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data analytics and will know how to leverage insights to strategically execute successful paid digital media campaigns.  Not only will this person need to be a skilled strategist, but an enthusiasm for creative and copy writing is essential. Key Functions:

Media Planning – Drafting media plans that include campaign projections, budget allocations, objectives, ad format recommends and KPIs.

Media Buying & Optimizing – Building and monitoring campaigns to ensure media is spending effectively and analyzing media performance to boost campaigns and deliver on client expectations and established KPIs.

Reporting – Collecting data and organizing it into reports that can be easily translated by team members and clients alike. Providing overviews and strategic assessments of performance to help shape the data story for reporting. 


  • 2-5 years of paid digital media experience.
  • Strong background in social media planning and buying, and experience utilizing Facebook Business manager. Strong understanding of digital platforms including Google AdWords and programmatic display.
  • Organized and data driven, self-starter who is capable of managing multiple tasks at once with careful attention to detail.
  • Must be flexible to occasionally work non-standard hours (monitoring campaigns that fall outside of 9-5 (i.e. weekends/evenings)
  • In-depth understanding of social media and digital marketing landscape, familiarity with best practices for SEO/SEM, as well as knowledge of social advertising beyond Facebook/Instagram (YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitter etc.).
  • Experience managing multiple campaigns at once, with overall monthly budgets of more than $30K.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset—a creative thinker and assertive problem solver with an analytical mind.
  • Professional and enthusiastic collaborator with both teams and clients, with the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Experience in advocacy, utilities, or government agencies is preferred but not required.
  • Willingness and ability to learn and do whatever is needed to see a project through to completion.
